All About Us Bookworms…

Hello and welcome to beautiful Narnia!

Thanks for visiting our “book blog.” We decided to start this blog for the summer of 2014 as a way to track our summer reading and also write about our favorite books. Although we haven’t updated much since school started, we plan to continue.

Ryan is a twelve-year-old boy in the seventh grade. He is a martial artist, a hiker, a skier, a swimmer, a gamer and a reader. Ryan likes chocolate, Dr. Pepper, Minecraft, and dragons. Ryan happens to share Harry Potter’s birthday, and he is disappointed that although an owl really did visit our backyard early in the morning on his 11th birthday, we can’t seem to find an acceptance letter to Hogwarts anywhere on our property. Click here for Ryan’s Top Ten Favorite Books.

Maegan is an eight-year-old girl in the third grade. She is a dancer, a hiker, a skier, a musician, an artist, a budding thespian, and a reader. Maegan likes fashion, baking, and American Girl dolls. Click here for Maegan’s favorite books.

Robin is their Mom, which equals taxi driver, chef, nurse, schedule manager, and of course, librarian. Robin loves her family and reading, but she also likes travel, coffee, cocktails, and shoes. Click here for Robin’s favorite picture books, here for her favorite middle grade and chapter books, and here for her favorite young adult books. You can follow Robin on Pinterest and Twitter.

Jim is their Dad, and when he is not working at Brookline Bank he is the assistant taxi driver, math tutor, bug killer, and general Mr. Fix it around the house. Jim loves Diet Coke, science fiction, and the Denver Broncos.

For now our site links to Goodreads for book information. Enjoy and please post comments for the kids
